Here is a listing of some of my favorite sites to visit. This list is by no means inclusive, I'll be adding to it regularly. It ultimately will be a listing of commercial, personal and support group sites. Have fun!
Commercial Sites
Want to shop or just get some ideas...some I have used and others that I have visited.
My all time favorite women's clothing store is online! If you receive their catalog, you know what I mean when I say Talbot's is the "classic" place for classic women's fashions that are stylish but not so trendy they'll be out of style next season. The offerings are not cheap, but shop their semi-annual sales in January and July and you can save a bundle and get some really great clothes that are well made and will last for quite a while.
Great looking pumps in heel heights from 2.5
inches to 4 inches up to size 12. Walt will even take orders for sizes up to 15! I have eight pairs and they are great looking (they make your legs look fabulous) and they are comfortable right out of the box, too. Service is fast and secure. Be sure to tell Walt that Debbi Richards sent you!
The mainstream shoe industry is finally figuring out there is a market for sizes over 10! Nine West offers a reasonably good selection of styles in sizes to 12. Plus, they offer good sales and discounts for repeat buyers.
Bandolino is a part of the Nine West Group and also offers shoes in sizes to 12. Some of their styles are similar to the Nine West styles, but offer just enough difference to make the buy worthwhile.
Nordstrom is not only a great department stroe, but also a fabulous place to shop for shoes! The first time buying womens shoes in a store with "live" help was in their flagship store in Seattle! They were so very nice and didn't seem the least bit put off that a guy would want to buy a pair of Amalfi pumps. Shop the website for shoes and accessories and keep a close eye for semi-annual sales!
This is the "mother church" of shoe sites! A list of brands a mile long and a range of sizes up to 12/13. This site is simply fun to brouse and the sales can be quite good. Customer service is awesome and the shiping is often free! How much better can it get?
This is where I get my hair! Most all of the wigs I own have come from Paula Young (with the notable exception of my very first one). Anyway, they offer a wide array of styles, sizes and colors and their service is fantastic. I can highly recomment Paula Young for great looking wigs that stay looking good at great prices. Check 'em out! It's where I got my nice rounded rear end. Espy
Lopez and company are tops! They produce quality garments in a variety of styles that will help you have a feminine figure no matter what nature has dealt
you. And if you're looking for the magic of clevage, be sure to take a look at Espy's Diva! I have one and it produce clevage even if you thought you didn't have anything to make clevage with! Believe me, it's a must with low cut necks on most evening wear. To look good in your makeup, you've got to have decent skin. Clinque offers some of the best skin care products I've ever used. Their Clarifying lotion is tops and their "Turnaround Cream" for facial use is the best I've ever used. "All about Eyes" is one of their moisturizers for use under your eyes and it has the capability to greatly reduce fine lines. I use these products everyday. Plus, there is a lot of good info here!
As the banner implies, this is the place for the woman who leave a larger than average footprint. This site offers some very cool shoes, many designer styles and some that are more commonly known from department stores (which never have your size). Shop their sales and you can save a lot on some really great looking and even trendy shoes in larger sizes.
A very helpful website if you're just starting to get
into make-up and don't have a clue what shade you need or anything
else! You can log in and the site will guide you as to what make-up
will look best with your skin tone and the site also offers
application tips. It's where I turned for help after my first
adventure into make-up had me looking like Bozo the Clown. Another good site for wigs with a good selection at good prices. If you've seen them in a store, you can check here for prices. They are discret and ship without the slightest hint that there is a wig in the
box! Advertised as the world's largest online bookstore
(and I don't doubt it). Great service and an unbelievable selection.
Search on "crossdressing" or "transgender" to find most any book that
has ever been written on the subject. Visit Marlene Klein for lipstick, blush, foundation, eye shadow and more! Marlene Klein - a department store quality brand...at Internet prices. Marlene is very TG friendly and they plan to offer a place on their site for make-up tips...so be sure to stop by. Looking for a bargain in footwear? Look no further. EShoeSale.com offers a wide range of ladies name brand shoes in sizes up to 13 for a fraction of the original price. Service is prompt but the selection varies, so, you'll have to shop here often if you are looking for a particular style or color...but then if you love shoes as much as I do, shopping often is no problem!

Here is a listing of some support groups in North Carolina, plus the national Tri-Ess site. If you're a crossdresser in North Carolina you could conceivably go to meetings two weekends a month. We are one of the few states with multiple chapters...either there are a lot of us here or this is a bold bunch of girls!
A wonderful resource site for the heterosexual crossdresser and his wife or SO. It was extremely helpful to me in terms of information and answers to questions my wife asked. They sponsor chapters around the world and the site has a list of all the chapters operating or forming.
This is the Tri-Ess chapter based in Raleigh. Contact them for membership information and meeting dates.
The "mother" of Tri-Ess chapters in North Carolina based in Charlotte which has been around for over 15 years. Contact Kappa Beta for membership information and meeting dates.
Samantha hails from western North Carolina. She is a lovely lady and shares my love for Classic Pumps! We met at the SCC planning meeting in Atlanta in August, 2001, and the first thing we started talking about was shoes! Stop by her site and enjoy the pics! (Plus, this girl really gets around!)
Lauren is a Florida girl who shares my love for "just the right pair of shoes"! A lovely site with some very nice photos of the hostess, plus a number of features of her outings across the country. Lauren is a Vanity Club sister and I am priviledged to call her my friend.
Miss Chryss is another Florida girl(and Vanity Club sister) who gets around and enjoys her TG life to the max! She is a classy lady that has no problem being one of "Santa's helpers" at the mall. Stop by and check on the latest happenings!
Vickie is a Tennessee gal and president of the Vanity Club in 2004 and 2005 (a job akin to herding cats...hats off to you Vickie). We had a real chance to visit during SCC 2005 and much to our chagrin realized that we had never linked websites! How's that for ol' Deb having a "senior moment"? Vickie's site is extensive and just fun to browse...so stop by!
A southwest sister and also a former Vanity Club member
with a great site. Lacey and I met on the old Usenet newsgroups way back in the mid 90's. Since that time she has become an author and advocate for crossdressers everywhere. Be sure to check out her website for some keen insight into what life should be like for all crossdressers. To say that Lacey has kicked it up a notch is a vast understatement.
Lily Templeton is a classy New England lady with a knack for classic clothes. She and I keep notes on our latest forays at Talbot's. So stop by check out Lily's real soon!
I am proud to say I have am a member one of
the prettiest sororities on the Internet! Stop by and see what having fun
with your "gender gift" is all about! Loads of pics and and just a
fun place to visit....plus, we even have a cookbook! And the scenery isn't too bad ,
either! This is the place for literally thousands of
photos of girls from all over the world, plus a fine collection of
photos of the hostess, Miss Vicki Rene. Be sure to check out her
"Prettiest of the Pretty" collection!
The most popular TG event in North America...held each year in September/October in Atlanta. As an alumni of SCC, I can tell you it's a "must attend" event! If you ever thought you were alone in loving to
wear a dress and a pair of heels then look no further. This site is
loaded with links and photos of girls literally around the
world. Hundreds pages and thousands of girls are listed with photos, email links and websites. A neat site with a directory of T-Girls across the country...plus there's a T-Girl of the month competition...and you get to vote! So stop by and check out the beauties.
